I am a practising radical/insurgent planner.
My activism/research is focused on understanding how community organising and social movements can act as a catalyst for greater self-determination, emancipation, and social change.
As an insurgent/radical planner, I aim to transform society by mobilising people to collectively challenge inequitable and unjust social and cultural norms, with an objective to directly impact policy outcomes. I am also interested in theorising the different strategies and tactics used by urban activists in an attempt to map out the different ways that they might seek to influence urban outcomes.
