Reservoir Leisure Centre

Residents in the northern suburbs of Darebin deserve access to a high quality leisure and recreational centre which includes a 50m swimming pool.

 

Our Council has just spent $63 million on the Northcote Aquatic Recreational Centre, but have only promised $15 million for Reservoir, this needs to change. when is the 15 promised to be spent and say it needs to be spent now.

If elected as your Councillor I will fight to redevelop the Reservoir Leisure Centre and prioritise it as a key infrastructure project. (push forward the spending of 15 million) I will talk with the community to understand what you want and aim to ensure that the new centre works for generations to come.

Given the current financial situation of the Council, I will also advocate to the State and Federal government for more funding to invest in the redevelopment of the Reservoir Leisure Centre.
